- They're not too high.. they will drop as technology increases as well.
- BUT, anyone and everyone with Lightwave and 3D Studio are claiming to be
- "animators" This just isn't true. 90% of the people out there are not
- creative and artistic (that are doing this) They thing that if the model a
- house with white walls, brown roof, and red garage door, and fly a camera
- through it.. *poof* they're and animator!!
-
- What they don't realize is that it looks like _shit_. And unfortunately,
- many clients see $$ as first on their priority list. Not quality. If you
- want price, then fine... go with the guy begging for work and chargeing
- $10 a second.
-
- If you want quality, go with the pro who is experienced, creative, and
- knowledgeable for $1000 a second. You're really defining the two business
- sectors here.. Business that are growing and care, and business that our
- out to make buck but will never advance beyond what they are. "You have
- to invest". Period.

- It does... let him go out to Hollywood and get a runners position at a CGI
- place.. he'll get coffee. food. He'll mop floors and clean toilets. If
- his into it and shows he is a team player, he will *WILL* work his way
- into a position... I've been there, and done exactly that (but with a
- major recording studio).
